Being Present

On an energetic level, when we breathe, we are processing the energy we are taking in from around us as well as the emotions we are experiencing.

When something happens that we do not feel capable of processing, we store it. You will notice when you are in great fear – you hold your breath. When there is tremendous grief, one may have problems breathing as they cry. This is the body’s way of protecting itself.

When stored energy and emotions accumulate in our body, they begin to create their own networks and their presence in the body is more strongly felt. Similar frequencies tend to be stored together and when something happens in our outer world that connects with a stored frequency, we are taken right back into the events connected to our stored emotions.

This is how it becomes difficult to live in the present. The essential oil blend we will use to help us process the storage and bring us into the present is Breathe blend.

Breathe will help you to release grief and pain you have been hanging on to. Opening up to release will give you the capacity to take in new, fresh energy and life.

Once we let go of the stories that deceive us, we can embrace our lives with freedom and grace. I love to set my intention of being present for the day by completing a reflection, meditation and then anchoring an affirmation with an essential oil for the day.

I have put together some questions you can reflect on in the morning and evening in the guide below as well as affirmations to help you stay aligned.

I hope you find this helpful.

In warmth,
Lisa
